Dr. Andy Lin was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, where he developed a strong appreciation for community and the power of a confident smile. He attended the University at Buffalo, earning a bachelor’s degree in Medicinal Chemistry with a minor in Mathematics, before pursuing his passion for dentistry. Dr. Lin went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine, where he also completed his residency in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics.
Having gone through braces three times himself, Dr. Lin understands firsthand the challenges and rewards of orthodontic treatment. This personal experience drives his commitment to patient education—especially the importance of wearing retainers—so his patients can maintain their beautiful results without repeating the same journey.
